| ESAL Content Services Portal Platform Component | ||
| ESAL is currently developing a resilient distributed enterprise content services component to provide integrated content management and integration services as part of a super-scalable architecture for enterprise portal platforms. The current release six includes support for IBM WebSphere™ and Oracle 9i AS™ and is designed to support mission critical, near real-time production environments in a global network deployment. The Content Services component is designed to manage dynamic information content measured in terabytes and includes support for Interwoven TeamSite™. Release six features a new Connection Channel facility to provide connectivity to back-end systems and multiple data and information feeds. | ||

The Enterprise Systems Architecture Laboratory (ESAL) is tasked with developing solutions based on both Open Source products and commercial products. ESAL is actively involved with international standards organizations such as the OMG to develop architectural standards and reference models. ESAL provides valuable technology and product assessment services to organizations throughout the technology adoption life-cycle - from initial concept through deployment. ESAL provides training, educational programs, and curriculum development services to government, corporate, and educational organizations. |
