Auldenfire, LLC is an international company that provides incubator and management consulting assistance for startup technology companies through initial funding, professional management services, logistical support, materiel and human resources. Auldenfire's core management team is comprised of degreed professionals. Each member has at least ten years of professional experience managing large-scale technology development projects as well as other applicable skills required for the conception, development and management of leading-edge, technology-based commercial and government projects.

Auldenfire was established in 1983 as a technology assessment and research group. During its formative period, its principals provided advanced technology solutions to government clients by evaluating emerging computer hardware, software, and communications technologies and identifying and adapting hardware and software products to individual client needs. At that time, Auldenfire specialized in evaluating and integrating commercial, off-the-shelf solutions for governmental and military applications. In various capacities, the company provided clients with technology impact assessments, economic assessments, human-computer interaction and ergonomic research, and experimental research. Auldenfire's assignments included communications encryption software; communications routing software for public carriers; entertainment software; PBC software; security monitoring software; database systems; experiment environment, control and monitoring software and systems; navigation and tracking software using geographic information systems; personnel tracking; wireless communications software; and logistics software. Through such assignments Auldenfire staff members refined their abilities to apply modern management science and quantitative metrics methodologies in complex technological projects, which developed into a core competency.

By 1993, Auldenfire was concentrating on government contracts using its cumulative experience in state-of-the-art information technology development projects. These assignments included air combat support and artillery support military simulation software; disaster coordination and support software; facilities management software; hazardous materials tracking and monitoring software; logistics support software; tactical ground combat military simulation software; tactical naval combat military simulation software; strategic defense systems software; missile defense software; robotics software for munitions manufacturing; strategic information processing software; image processing software; and integrated combat control systems software.
