ASR Strategic Resources was established in 1983 to provide communications, logistical support, materiel resources, subject matter and technical specialists, and support management staff for advanced software development projects in multiple countries on various continents. ASR's early projects included research and development activities in support of advanced military and governmental technology programs. The company also provided security assessment, forensic audits, and management consulting services for software development projects.

ASR now provides information technology and software development services to organizations involved in large-scale software development and implementation activities. ASR principals and support personnel are skilled and experienced in the application of the Unified Modeling Language (UML), Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Use Case driven methodologies applied to large-scale, object-oriented development projects.
